Gemma began her Pilates practice over 14 years ago, developing a deep understanding of clinically-informed, strength-focused movement that delivers meaningful, lasting results. Throughout her practice, Gemma identified a gap in the market for challenging and results driven yet clinically-minded and bespoke Pilates… and so the GCP protocol was born.

Founded on a combination of clinical knowledge and practical experience, the studio offers a more considered alternative to traditional group fitness. Each session prioritises strengthening, precision, alignment, and long-term movement quality through structured, technique-led programming.

We believe that effective Pilates is defined both by intensity, repetition and progressive overload, along with a clear understanding of the body - how it moves, compensates, and adapts.

Through Gemma's educational approach, clients receive the attention required to build strength safely, improve alignment, and move with greater confidence and control.

Our teaching style is progressive, results-driven and highly individualised, supporting each client according to their goals, needs, and stage of life.
